RiskMonkey is a source of comment, opinion, news and resources in the fields of information risk management, audit, governance and IT security.

There is plenty of detailed technical information in all these areas if you know where to look, but the field is huge and changing every day. RiskMonkey assumes no-one can know everything (I certainly don’t) so the main aim of the site is not to to provide detailed technical brilliance on all matters IT, but rather to explain the world of IT management and governance to the widest possible audience.

It will try to be less boring than the ISACA journal (we love you ISCJ, but you’re just not fun to read), but more accurate than the News of the World. We can’t promise, but we’ll try.

If you’d like to contribute to this endeavour (and you have something to offer), RiskMonkey is set to be a key resource for IT professionals, company directors, students, managers and many others. Just get in touch if you have something to say. It doesn’t need to be brilliant, and nor do you. It just has to be of interest to our audience, and relevant to our site. We hope you’ll do a little more research than a tabloid journalist, but an academic paper would be overkill. If you want the credit, it’s all yours - and if you don’t that’s fine too.

We’re happy to receive comment and opinion (’blog’ style content), news (recent factual information, perhaps with commentary), or information and advice (top ten tips, how to’s, etc.).

I hope you’ll help RiskMonkey share this fascinating field with the world - after all, for directors, managers and professionals, it’s a jungle out there and the more help we have the better.

Yours,

RM
